Tuesday 28th August

Morning;

Less than 100 hours to go before Wenger has to improve his squad we have been linked with many people but is it true or just a bunch of Sugar Honey Ice Tea.

Defenders:

Arsenal have been linked with defenders all thought the transfer windows but none have been bought. We had some major defensive problems last season so we need to get one or two before the transfer Window slams shut. Mapou Yanga-M'biwa has been linked with the top two sides in London ( Arsenal and Chelsea ). He would be a great signing for the gunners just in case all our centre backs injured again. I don't really see him as a starter but he can get some starts if Mertersacker ,Koscienly or Vermalen get injured. Arsenal are being linked with Swansea right back Angel Rangel. This rumour was started by the daily mail (-__-). Arsenal dont need this guy. In the event that Sagna and Jenkinson are both injured then we can buy this guy. If we are going to buy him he is just going to find himself sitting on the bench.  Arsenal are being linked with Danish defender Nicolai Boilesen. He is 20 years old and plays for the dutch club Ajax. He has shown alot of promise but has had very little experience. He can play centre back and left back which would attract Wenger. Considering he is so young he could have a great future at Arsenal and eventually leave the club , like all Arsenal greats do.

Mid-fielders:

Am I the only one who thinks Arsenal is going to bench one of his central mids ( Wilshere , Arteta, Carzola). Arsene hasn't denied interest in Yohan Cabaye. Several reports say Le Prof is lining up a 15mil move for the Toon midfielder. Its not like Arsene to buy an excellent player and just bench him. So you have got to wonder who is he going to drop when Wilshere is fully fit. I will get back to that but first let me tell you about Ibrahim Afellay. Afellay is likely to be a gooner before friday but only on a loan deal ( I said that about Sahin last week). He can play LM or LW. which is very good for a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 formation (<<< remember that, it is very important). If Arsene is going to buy Afellay that means he is either droping Giroud or Podolski to the bench. Seeing as how Podolski is better than Giroud on paper would think that it would be Giroud ( No surprise there). Back to the central midfield position. It all depends on what formation. If its 4-4-2 he can play 2 CM if its 4-3-3 he can play 3 CM. But the question is who will he play. For both formations Carzola is a definite. The other CM for 4-4-2  would all depend on form. If Cabaye shows good form all the way up to Wilshere's return it would be Carzola and Cabaye. We still have to keep in mind that Arteta is our vice captain. But im sure he would mind coming on as a sub every now and then. Cabaye wouldnt mind either, Wilshere would be a bit rusty so we cant expect him to start right away but when it comes to big games , Arsene will have to pick the better out of the three. For 4-3-3 It would have to be Carzola and Arteta starting what so ever. Cabaye would be the other until Wilshere returns. But when Wilshere does return it will be a battle of form.

Attackers:

For those of you that do not want to read about Bentner jump to the formation down below. Bentner may be heading to Italy. Juventus want him for 5mil. Good riddance

Fantasy Formation

The fantasy formation is the starting 11 for Arsenal if all the transfer links where to come.

Pretty strong squad wouldn't you think. Sorry Giroud.

Goodbye.

Monday August 27th

Afternoon fellow gooners. If you catch my Sunday post check it out.

Defence:

Honestly our defence seems fine ,we are not linked with anyone.

Midfield:

Its been reported by many that Arsenal are looking to sign the Newcastle duo Yohan Cabaye and Cheick Tiote. The pair have impressed for the magpies and Arsenal are reported to have lined up a 15mil pound move for the duo. Yans M'Vila still seems to be on Arsene's radar but rumours and reports are starting to die down. With the return of Wilshere approaching getting an attacking minded midfielder doesn't seem to be necessary. Affelay! The rumours have sparked for the gunners as reports say that Arsenal could be in a loan tussle with Spurs and Liverpool. Of course we are the favourites because we have champions league football. Looking forward to that signing because it could allow Wenger to play a formation with more than one striker!

Attack:

All right we all know that Arsenal attacking hasn't been so hot. But It does take a while for players to settle. The attacking issue can either be resolved by getting a new striker or playing more than one person up front. I say both but getting a new striker is something that might be difficult for Arsenal. Welcome old fishiness 4-3-3 formation or 4-4-2 formation. If we are going to get a new striker I say we get G Rossi. He has had premier league experience is around 25 and would love to play in the champions league.

You know the FC position Podo=podolski, Giro=Giroud, Ros=Rossi.

Just to clarify Im will no longer do my EPL round up sorry but its to much work running 3 blogs. Be sure to catch the latest gear grinders on Saturday. As always I will update in the evening.

Sunday 26th August

Hello. Sorry I'm  late. Arsenal 0-0 Stoke. Arteta has expressed his disappointment in Arsenal not being able to convert chances so today will be all about strikers. Who do I think can grab those countless opportunities. First things first, Arsenal should switch to 4-4-2.

Giuseppe Rossi- Rossi is very powerful and very quick he is very experienced and has exquisite finishing. Rossi is hardly ever injured and would be valued under 35mil. His passing is very good. Rossi is one of my favourite options because he has had premier league experience and would probably settle sooner than expected.

Fernando Llorente- Very tall and very good in the air. Looking to leave his club and valued under 30mil. As well as being good in the air he is very talented with the ball at his feet. He scored many goals last season.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar  had a season to remember as he has scored 25 goals in 24 games for Schalke 04 this second half of 2011.He looks set for a great 2012/13.

Well Im sorry this post lacked quality Im so tired catch my EPL round up and my gooner transfer rumours tomorrow.

Good night,

Saturday 25 August 2012

Saturday 25th August

Yo Gooners. The rumours for arsenal have died down quite a bit. Wenger has completely lost interest in Nuri Sahin. Real Madrid's loan fee was just too high for Le Prof and now he has moved on. This made me laugh, Wenger said " If I wanted Sahin I would have signed him".

Arsene Wenger has said that he would dip his hand in the transfer market again. Its likely that he will be searching for a more defensive midfielder. Yans M'Vila is one person that I talk about alot on this blog and someone I pray will come to the gunners before next week.

Anyone for a banana? Yaya Banana is a Cameroon Under 21 International who plays in central defence or at right back. He’s 21 years old and stands just under 6′ 4″ tall and currently plays for French club Sochaux in Ligue 1. This would be a great signing for us because Bacary Sagna is injured and our centre backs are known for there injury problems.

Florent Malouda is one of the most recent names to be linked with Arsenal. I cant really go into much detail but if you want to hear more about it go to caught offside. Not to be too harsh but we do not need him at all. We have too many flankers. Besides he is 32 years old.

Thats about it. As always there is the occasional striker rumours but nothing is really new thats for reading and keep an eye out for my EPL round up either tomorrow or Monday.

Adios

Friday 24 August 2012

Friday 24th August 2012

First things first I am sorry that I didn't post yesterday I was at Alton Towers, FYI awesome. Anyway the gunners have had a few set backs.

Nuri Sahin. The Sahin saga is coming to an end as Liverpool have countered Arsenal's 2mil loan fee with a 5mil fee. It was reported that Sahin had passed his medical in London but with Liverpool offering big money for a loan deal, Sahin may be a Red in the next 24hrs.

Another set back would be recently linked Jesus Navas. Navas suffers from major home sickness and Sevilla has said he is not for sale. The gunners would have to offer 15.7mil for the Spanish winger. Navas has been in the dark about Arsenal interest and has said he is happy at Sevilla (no shock there).

With Sahin and Navas unlikely to come to Arsenal ,who should Wenger turn his attention to? Yans M'Vila is someone Wenger needs to sign. With him not wanting to go to Tottenham or Zenit, the gunners look favourites to  sign the defensive midfielder. Walcott is someone that we are not sure is loyal to Arsenal. But we need to find a winger weather he signs or does not. Gervinho is already an Arsenal player and says he is ready to show fans what he has got.

Thats about it from me. Any big news happens I will give you an update.

Tuesday 21 August 2012

Tuesday 21st August 2012

Song is officially to the catalans. 15mil and a five year contract. So who is going to replace him. Arsenal boss  Arsene Wenger said in his interview that he would be looking to sign a midfielder. Well I know most of you might be thinking, well that is clearly Sahin but I think Wenger is talking about a permanent midfielder. To be more specific a defensive midfielder. Yann M'vila has always been linked with the gunners but I think by the end of the week he will be a gooner. M'vila is very popular as Zenit and Spurs also want him but he has a premier league and a champions league desire. So arsenal.

Now on to Nuri Sahin. Sahin is supposedly in London either having a medical or having a photoshoot. The turkish international would be a great addition to Arsenal's midfield and plays like our previous captain Cesc Fabregas.   Sahin has been rumored to have signed his   loan deal with an 8mil buy clause at the end but if Arsenal dont finish in the top four you can say good bye to Sahin. UPDATE: Turns out the spanish papers have been talking rubbish again because Arsenal and Real Madrid are still in talks. The buy at the end of season deal is actually the thing that is holding it up! Hopefully that would clear up by the end of the week.

On to the attacking issue. Should we replace RVP with Llorente. I say yes but im not righting of Giroud he will have some startes. Spanish papers have Arsenal favourites to sign the 6'4 striker but if Wenger is going to he better hurry up other wise Juventus will snap him up quick. Llorente is an excellent forward and good in the air. He is also very good with the ball at his feet as well. Llorente would cost lower than 25mil and Arsenal do have that money. Arsenal have over 55mil but will they save it for a rainy day. Well at the Emirates its pouring down so Wenger should get spending.

Another thing Arsene said in his interview was that he wanted to sign a defender. Will it be a centre back or a full back? I think it is a left back. His name is Cheikh M’Bengue and is very experienced as he is Toulous's  first choice left back and has played 21 times for french under-21's.

Now how did we pick a starting 11 with all these players linked to the gunners.

That is a title winning squad wouldnt you agree.

Well that's it from me. If anything has changed I will update it later today thanks for reading by.
